If a sentence is comprised of research from two different sources, how would I do the internal citation?

You simply say both sources in the text.  I do that frequently.  And my professors say its acceptable.

You simply say both sources in the text. I do that frequently. And my professors say its acceptable.

So, I would say:

Using learning styles and the Theory of Multiple Intelligences for learning is a new approach that educators have only recently recognized, and most still do not put these into effect. (Armstrong) (Dunn)

or would it be (Armstrong, Dunn)

Well, the problem lies in:  Are you using a works cited page?

I would write it as following:

According to *** Armstrong and *** Dunn of *****(Which website?  Book? Etc.), "Using learning styles and the Theory of Multiple Intelligences for learning is a new approach that educators have only recently recognized, and most still do not put these into effect." (*name of article inside of website, chapter in book*)

And the MLA style Works Cited page will complete this.
