You are talking to "intellectuals" on a teen support forum. For many people here, social life is on the internet. The results of this poll are not surprising, especially considering that nobody likes to identify as a sheep.

Sheep get killed by humans and wolves.
However, if I was a sheep that was guaranteed not to be killed by a wolf, or a human, or anything... As long as I could have a partner, I'd be happy. I know how lonely feels, and its not good. Though wolves are not really that lonely, as previous members have stated...wolf lol

Are we all lonely and misunderstood?
Funnily (or not) enough, you were misunderstood in this thread. And - from what I remember about your other topics - it wasn't the first time either.

I'd rather be with friends than be preoccupied. So therefore I'd much rather be a sheep than be a wolf.

What if you're neither? I'm neither bored nor lonely, and I don't see why you'd want to put yourself in either category.

I am a wolf. I don't follow, I lead. I don't have many friends, but I don't do whatever everybody else is doing.

Most people in the world are sheep, although they describe themselves as wolves.

I don't get why you have to be either. What's the point in sitting here and categorising yourself like that?

Boredom and lonliness would have a fairly high correlation co-efficient.

But if I had to choose one it would be sheep, its more biblical. I would prefer to have mates and nothing to do then have everything to do but with no one to do it with

Boredom and loneliness are directly related in my opinion. I don't really understand this model.

I would want to be a sheep.. I don't think that I could handle being lonely for the rest of my life.

I would be a Sheppard. I'm very observant,  natural born leader and often find myself left with nothing to do but contemplate life and I take great pride in my flock. Sorry if I broke the rules but I don't think I could see myself in either of these positions but rather somewhere in-between. besides one should never deal in absolutes.

I don't understand this at all.
I am most definitely a sheep, and I don't see why that is a problem. I follow other people and I let other people take the lead, and I don't find myself getting bored or lonely. In fact, when I'm bored it's most often because I'm lonely.
Just because I follow other people doesn't mean that I'm bored - in fact, if I 'leave' something that I'm 'following' it's because I disagree with something that is of fundamental importance to that particular group. That doesn't make me a 'wolf' who is 'lonely' either.
Very, very bad analogy.

I'm not sure I exactly understand the metaphor, but I think I'd rather be a sheep.

I think what I'm keeping most in mind is the fact that wolves must kill and sheep must be killed.  As unpleasant as it would be to be killed, I would rather accept that than live with the grizzly reality of being a killer.

Black sheep, vegetarian wolf....why does it really matter?

For the sake of answering the OP, I'd rather be a wolf: I'd rather CHOOSE to be lonely than to be mindlessly herded around in boredom.

I am a Shepard. Interestingly enough, the movie "No Country for Old Men" posits this same question.
