The actual campaign is only now starting. Neither candidate has really made any statement on what their strategy is going to be if they are elected. I won't vote for personalities, my vote is for a President. I'll wait for someone to tell me what he's going to do if elected.

it's really not so much what the country wants per se. it's what it NEEDS. and we NEED someone like Barack Obama to run our country. both candidates are striding for change, but it's not a matter of who's who or what's what, its what type of CHANGE we need to put us back on top and restore America's glory. it's like Obama said, America is better than the past 8 years, we CAN do better, and by voting for him, we SURE AS HELL WILL do better, before we're in deeper than we are now.

Definately McCain.

I agree with maybe one thing that Barack Obama stands for. He is using the race card too much. The only reason he has gotten this far is two things: he is black, and he is "good at speaking."

The latter is hardly true anymore though. Now that McCain chose Palin as his VP candidate, its obvious who the best choice is. It proves that McCain will change the U.S. for the better. Obama... I will probably move to Canada if he is elected.

The other thing i dont like is how there are hardly any Republicans on this site...

Definately McCain.

What really pisses me off about this is that some of my classmates think I'm racist just because I don't want Obama to win. It's bullshit. Just because the guy's black doesn't mean you HAVE to vote for him so you can prove that you're not a racist.

But anyway, (I know some liberal's gonna be gunnin' for me) I trust McCain's word more than Obama's.

Still one thing I don't understand: Everyone was bitching because Sarah Palin was "mayor in a small town in Alaska" that wasn't experienced for the job.........have they forgotten that she's Govenor of the largest state in the U.S? While meanwhile Obama comes in out of nowhere and all of a sudden he's the man?

thats definitely not why I'm voting for him. I'm voting for obama because we don't need anymore stinky white guys in the oval office. we need to let he office breath get some air. we need a change and we need obama. the middle class is strained we need to be freed from the taxes that are killing us and making the hard working middle class homeless. my husband works 15 hours a day breaking his back and at the end of the day has nothing because we use it to pay bills. he cant even get medical care. he suffers day in and day out ive even gotten to the point where im having difficulty getting baby food. we need obama he knows what we middle class people need.

oh and Alaska is by far one of the smallest populated town in America. she has no experience and she sure set a good example when her daughter who only 17 ended up pregnant with a baby. wow! what an example for the American people
