I just fucked up the entire eighth fleet of the Archadian empire in final fantasy XII so I can relate to this article.
Well actually that was the one guy was being a dumbass. That would be like if a fleet of American ships blew up because a nuke decided to fuck up for no reason but its own.

the terrorists in iraq arent part of a 'revolution' or 'freedom fighters' against the u.s. theyre terrorists that have been brainwashed by mideast propaganda to destroy americans and jews and other westerners. america made a huge tactical area by ging into iraq and weve made huge errors since that have costed us the 'war' but the war that needs to be won isnt a physical war, its a war against extremeism and hate that many radicals in the mideast are being taught, and by going into iraq we have only solidified that bullshit propaganda.

During a class aptly titled 'Dynamics of Global Intolerance' at my high school, my teacher told of a quote apparently made an advisor to the President about going into Iraq: "You break Iraq, you bought it." Like it or not, whatever your position is, Bush made a serious strategic, economic, and political ERROR based on flawed and (in many cases) outright biased intelligence. Not only did he underestimate the resilience of the Iraqi people, he failed to consider that in an unstable region like Iraq, there is bound to be militant groups waiting for the current regime to fall so that they can make a bid for power. Well, with our army invading, we accomplished that rather nicely, thus touching off a firestorm of guerilla warfare wages by religious fanatics who think nothing of throwing their own lives away for the sake of a politico-religious ideology. Not to mention causing as much collateral damage and casualties as they can. So, it really is no surprise that we are having such a hard time, and yes, losing the Iraq War. It is the logical extension of Vietnam...we can't win, but we keep on fighting because we are too proud to simply admit we were wrong. Yes, Hussein was a genocidal maniac. Yes, he orchestrated horrific things on his own people. And, for that reason, it was probably a good thing that he was taken out and sentenced to execution by hanging. However, you must consider what the aftereffects would be, with all the elements described above. Yes, that would mean that Saddam would more than likely remain in power, but frankly, that's the decision you have to make.

US military would be good if the mission was to destroy a country completely, but they dont really have a goal right now and are basically camping there.

Halliburton really needs to spin off KBR.

Meh its better than having the Halliburton name plastered all over Iraq. Force Protection Inc. is about to start really grabbing the cash. The Marines want to order thousands of their armored trucks.
